ABOUT MusicDNA
Created, Founded & developed By Jonny Murphy
​MusicDNA is a groundbreaking process created by Jonny Murphy, born out of a deep desire to unlock the unique Personal Energetic Frequency (PEF) within each artist. The journey began when an artist in Jonny’s studio asked him, “So what do you do?” This simple question led to a revelation: Jonny’s true purpose is helping artists discover their authentic, natural frequency—a frequency that forms the foundation of their creativity, originality, and sound.
Through an innovative, deeply intuitive process, Jonny guides artists to feel and connect with their inner frequency. By starting with a single note, he identifies how they feel, see, and hear music, ultimately revealing their musical essence. While the process might seem simple at first glance, it involves intricate layers of universal energy, healing frequencies, meditation, and decades of research into light, sound, and color charts. Influenced by pioneers like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Jonny has created something that is entirely unique.

The Music DNA Foundation 3-Day, 2-Night Program: Healing, Fun, and Transformation Through Music
The Music DNA Foundation’s 3-day, 2-night offsite program is designed to create a transformative and memorable experience for youth at risk. Set in a safe and supportive environment, the program integrates music as a tool for healing, self-expression, and connection. Over three days, participants will embark on a journey of discovery, creativity, and empowerment under the guidance of skilled mentors and careful supervision.

The program takes place at a serene offsite location, offering participants the space to step away from daily challenges and focus on personal growth. Every activity is supervised to ensure a secure and nurturing atmosphere.

Music is the core of this program, used not only to spark creativity but also to calm troubled minds, promote self-awareness, and inspire emotional resilience. Participants will engage in music meditation, creative songwriting, and collaborative performances, leaving them with a newfound sense of purpose and confidence.

Morning: Welcome Session​

• Icebreaker activity: Share a favourite song and why it resonates with you.

Midday: The Music DNA Journey​
• Introduction to the MusicDNA Process using the Lumi Keyboard.​
• Workshop: “What’s Your Sound?” – Explore different musical elements
and their emotional impact.

Afternoon: Personal Playlist Reflection​
• Homework assignment: Curate two playlists of five songs each:​
• 5 Songs that influenced their life (good or bad).​
• 5 Songs they wish they had written or produced.​
• Open jam session with live instruments and digital tools to explore their signature sound.

Create & Play
Morning: Build Your Sound​
• Group activity:
Create loops and beats using sound banks filled on Day 1.​
• Workshop: “Songwriting Made Simple” – Learn to write lyrics that tell your
Story.

Midday: Collaborative Creation​
• Form small groups to combine loops and lyrics into a song.​
• Hands-on experience with microphones and recording equipment.

Chrissy Hulsby
Founder / Director
Chrissy Hulsby is an influential feature film producer, best known for her work in the horror genre, including acclaimed films such as *BOAR* and *The Possessed*. With over a decade of experience in the film industry, Chrissy has made a name for herself through collaborations with top directors as well as leading international distribution partners like Universal Pictures, AMC and Shudder. Her films have achieved global success, including high-visibility campaigns in New York City’s Times Square. As a proud member of Screen Producers Australia, Chrissy has consistently pushed boundaries, contributing significantly to the Australian film scene and the global entertainment industry.
In addition to her accomplishments in filmmaking, Chrissy has also established herself as a successful artist manager. This has fuelled her deep passion for helping young talent find their unique voice. Her extensive industry experience has given her a keen understanding of the power of creative expression and the potential for art to transform lives, particularly for at-risk youth.
Motivated by her desire to give back and guide the next generation, Chrissy co-founded the Music DNA Foundation alongside her partner, Jonny Sonic. Together, they form a powerhouse duo dedicated to rehabilitating troubled youth through the power of music.
